The University of Colorado- Denver (CU-Denver, founded in 1898, is a major public university known for its excellent academic programs, research status, location and opportunities for over 18,000 enrolled undergraduate and Graduate students.

There are over 100 student organizations on campus and the downtown Denver area of just under 1 million in population.
