The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), founded in 1882, is a public research university of over 30,000 students located in Chicago, Illinois. The US News & World report ranks UIC as the 129th best national university. UIC is the home of the largest Medical school in the US.

UIC offers an extensive number of academic programs including over 85 Bachelor, 90 Graduate and 64 Ph.D programs. It is very popular for students to combine their academic studies with opportunities to participate in many on campus, clubs, activities and organization. These include student government, social clubs, athletics, intramural sport programs, work opportunities and many more. Students can live on campus or off campus in the greater Chicago area.
