ABOUT US

Location: Milwaukee, WI - USA

The University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (UWM), founded in 1885, is a public research university located in Milwaukee's upper East side close to Lake Michigan. The University enrolls 27,000 students and is just blocks from the beaches of Lake Michigan. UWM is raked as a major National university by the US News & World report.

The University consists of 14 schools and colleges, offering some 200 degree programs, including many bachelor, Graduate and doctorate (PhD) degrees. The university is highly ranked for many of its academic programs including Architecture, Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Management Information Systems, Political Science, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering, Physical therapy and many more. 

Students like the university because there are many clubs, social organizations, activities, concerts, movies and athletic programs available on the campus. The university's athletic teams compete in the NCAA Division I. there are opportunities for student scholarship and work on the campus.
